Modgrain is a small urban wood shop located in Seattle. We design and build furniture focusing on design that is both current and timeless. We specialize in modern design styles and are happy to work with you to achieve the perfect piece for your space. We typically work with veneered plywood (walnut, maple, mahogany, bamboo) and other materials such as aluminum, acrylic and canvas. Because each piece is built one at a time, we can size a piece to meet your specific needs. During the design phase, we make each piece of furniture easy to visualize by creating sample drawings or illustrations (pdf).
